For those of you who don't know, I am doing this assignment for my class where I have to take 60,000 steps or walk/run approximately 33 miles a week. If I reach my goal for three weeks in a row, Andy has agreed to give me 15 dollars (I know that's not very much money, but I originally asked him to give me 5 bucks a week, so I have to stick with it. I should have asked for more!). For some, this may be easy to walk 10,000 steps a day, but there have many nights where I have been up late walking/running on my treadmill to get my steps in. It's been pretty hard. Andy has kind of gotten himself trapped in this whole situation because he has become my official walking partner. At first he really hated going for a walk, but he is really starting to warm up to going on walks.
Anyway, Andy decided to go for a hike yesterday for fun and to help me get my steps in. We went to the famous Waterfall Canyon trail that starts at the end of 29th street in Ogden. The hike was so pretty because the trees are changing colors! (I am pretty sure that Fall is my favorite season because of the amazing colors.) When we got to the end of the trail, there was very little water. We only found the little waterfall that can be seen in the pictures below. Even though we didn't get to see a good waterfall, we had so much fun.
Thanks Andy, for being so helpful with my assignment and taking me on a great hike!

cute post McKenzie! It's funny to see Andy all grown up and in love with a girl! :) I think you should get extra steps for going to waterfall canyon though. That one always gets the best of me!!
p.s. McKenzie, do you have a blog besides the scrapbook one?
I have the Hart Family Blog (www.hartsoccerfam.blogspot.com), Kenzi Dawn Designs (www.kenzidawndesigns.blogspot.com), Kenzi Dawn's Scrapbook (www.kenzidawnscrapbook.blogspot.com), and Andy & I have a blog, but it is not open to public quite yet, but I will let you know when it opens. I hope that answered your question. And the hike was hard! We had to take a nice long break about halfway up.
I just realized that me asking if you had a blog might sound like I meant you should have posted this on there. I totally didn't mean that. I was just thinking, Hey, I don't ever read posts from McKenzie and it's fun... glad to know how I can keep up on you!
I didn't even think about it like that at all.
Wow, that was a nice conversation between Emily and McKenzie... :)
I just wanted to say what a good idea I think it is to make Andy pay you when you reach your goal.
Casey, if I do something good, will you pay me?
Just joking! I love this post!
Don't tell McKenzie but I am only paying her so she will have enough money to buy me a Christmas present!!!!
That is so not true, Andy!
yep...
i agree with danny....yep
First of all... WOW, 10 comments on this post! (Now 11.) I guess I'll read what everyone said now.
Okay after I read all the comments, I agree with Dan and Shan.
But i do want to add that I hate the hike to waterfall canyon. It kicks my butt! Anyway, good job Kenzi!
