Does anyone else miss these people?

Movie Night!

So, Emily and Shawnee went to "Time out for Women" on Friday night so we decided to have a "Movie Night" at Mom and Dad's house. Casey borrowed a projector and we projected some movies on the wall in the big room. Zack and Lila were thrilled with watching TMNT because Zack is totally into "'inja Turtles." Nat made popcorn and Mom made carmel popcorn and we had such a fun night hanging out together. After the kids went to bed, the adults watched "Eagle Eye" and after that Danny, Wayne, and Nick watched "Transformers 2" until 3 am. It was such a fun night and was so fun to just hang out with family. We missed our family members who weren't there.

Brady hadn't sat down by the time I started taking pictures but I wanted to document that he was there.

Here's the group. Notice that Zack and Lila are completely sucked into the show but Abby's bouncing and running around everywhere...that's how it was the whole night.

I noticed that even though I tried hard to get everyone in the picture who was there, I failed to get a picture of me (Tami) in any pictures, but I was really there!!! I didn't get any of Andy either. I'm not sure what he was doing...probably playing with his new 4-wheeler.

Missing Danny

I was looking through pictures tonight and found a few of Danny from his visit here. I thought you might like to see them!

I thought this was sweet. That "scurvy dog" probably read her a hundred stories while he was here.
This one just reminds me of Danny... I can almost hear him being silly when I look at this picture.

Who is this kid??

Zack got his first haircut today (see my blog for more details.) When I uploaded the pictures I couldn't believe how much he looked like one of you... (at least I think so, anyway.) I decided to see what the rest of you think...

Yesterday I was going to call and tell you happy birthday, but Grandma Jannie told me that today is your birthday.... but really yesterday was your birthdays. We hope you had a good day. We love you both lots and can't wait to see you again!

Setting things right

Dear Nat, (and Brady),

You're right... I've been neglecting you and the rest of the family so I am posting this here to try and set things right. The truth is though, I just can't pull off two total blogs, so the rest of you are going to have to step it up a bit. ;)

I'm trying to type this with Zack in my arms... (the girls are asleep) and he keeps growling and trying to get at Abby's picture. Funny kid. Anyway, I thought these pictures were cute of the kids. We went to the farm on Saturday but the admission price was $12.00 a person on the weekend and I am to cheap to pay 12 bucks to see an ostrich and some goats. We ended up just going to the park instead but I thought these pictures were still cute.

Abby has a fever. I hope that Zack doesn't catch it. She took a 2o minute nap this morning!! (Big sigh!) Anyway... I better get back to reality (aka laundry). I hope everyone is doing well. We miss you all!

Cory Wayne Barrett Haws

Hey Cory,
I know Tami already posted about your birthday and I could have just posted a comment, but I wanted to put up a couple pictures of you. I wish that I were at Jan and Wayne's house and I'd get some of the ones when you were little. Or I'd hunt down a picture of your fro... I guess ones of you when you are big will have to do!

So when I think about you as a little kid I think about a BLONDE, BLONDE little boy with a red Kool-aid mustache and a mischievous little grin on your face. You have always been so sweet and so observant. I always remember you quietly in the background watching and figuring out what was going on.

I also remember you making me laugh. You can always make me laugh. I remember when Dad had to invoke the 5 second? waiting rule on jokes at dinner because you were always stealing his material! :)

And now as I think of you all grown up I think about how thoughtful you are.You call me out of the blue just to say hi and you always think of sweet things to say or do. (I think we owe a little of this to your sweet Milli rubbing off on you, but always were a sweet kid!) It is weird to think of my little brother being a grown up. I always feel like I need to take care of all of you guys (which I know is incredibly annoying) but I was the only one who got to be there to watch you all come home from the hospital and hold you and love you from the beginning.

I could go on and on about memories and stories, but I really just want you to know how much I love you, Cory Wayne Barrett Haws, and that I m proud of you. I know you are a good man and a good husband. You're also a good brother and a great friend! I love you!

Marino Farm & Apple Picking

I promise I won't post every day, but we actually did something fun today so I thought I'd post a few pictures. We went to a farm where you get to ride a cute train and pet the animals. Notice in the above picture Lila is trying to figure out what the baby goat is doing. (It's nursing).


Abby and Zack just hung out in the stroller (casualty of being twins, I guess... you don't get out of the stroller much!)


We got to go apple picking too. Lila thought it was pretty cool. Who knew that apples actually grew on trees!

Anyway, it was fun and I am enjoying my new camera though I have lots to figure out still! Post a comment and let me know what you think!
