Peach Cobbler - 5/21/2016

The End of Another Week!

It's been kind of a crazy week.  Lots of thing happening at the temple.  We were able to serve in the mornings which means we had the afternoon to ourselves.  We kind of just relaxed and enjoyed it.

These are some pictures I wanted to share.

Peach Cobbler has become a favorite treat, especially warn with vanilla ice cream.

Wayne noticed this parked outside.  Look how tiny the tires are on this truck. The back ones are smaller than the front ones.  Maybe they think they'll get better gas mileage.

We saw this DHL drive by the temple.  We didn't know Peru has a package delivery company here.

This tree is outside to the left of our balcony.  A branch broke off the top.  We're watching to see if it will grow straight?

This is a different looking truck, it's cab was like a box.  There was a silver horse as a hood ornament, if you look close you can see it.

I've wondered how people move here because we don't see many trucks.  I guess this is how.  I got this from Sandy's blog and she got it from Sister Bentley.

Friday the 20th was Johnny's 37th birthday.  Happy Birthday Johnny!  We love you.

Friday Jim and Patti brought a lady from their branch to the temple to receive her endowments. It was a nice surprise to see them, we didn't know they were coming.  After we finished our temple responsibilities, none of us had eaten lunch, so the Hartman's us and the Fackrell's went to eat a late lunch, early dinner. We always have a good time with these two couples and this time was another good one.

We are so blessed!
