Waffles

We have this fancy Waffle Cooker, so this morning we decided to make waffles.  It was kind of weird to cook waffles with the cooker standing on it's end.  I wasn't sure how it would work.  

I poured the batter in the top opening, the batter sizzled and ran down into the cooker.  The extra batter, instead of oozing out the sides, bubbled up to the top opening, where I poured the batter in.  When the waffle is cooked, it beeps.   It was kind of cool.   The first waffle,  I used too much batter. The second one, not enough batter.  The third one was good. It takes about 3/4 cup of batter.

The third one was perfect!!

It's nice to have american syrup, it tastes just like home.  The milk, we're still trying to get use to.   

We enjoyed the breakfast!

This afternoon we go to the temple.  We will work from 4:00 to about 8:30 pm.  There will be three sessions tonight.
