Light the World * Walk to the Mall

When we came home from the temple Wednesday, we found this cute little Christmas decoration hanging by our door to wish us a Merry Christmas.  All of the missionaries had one by their door. Por Favor Hermana Guevara Castro, that was sweet of you. #LighttheWorld

We received this cute little Christmas Tree door hanger from Sister Prieto Tuesday wile we were in the temple.  Sister Prieto is a sweet little lady who volunteers at the temple every Tuesday and I love her.  You can't tell from the picture but this is all hand made. It hangs on our door and will always be a treasure. #LighttheWorld

The Church has a worldwide campaign, "Light The World".  It started December 1 and will go until Christmas.  There is a beautiful video that goes along with it that shows Christ helping and serving others. We are encouraged to do likewise.  Posts on Instagram and Facebook have the hashtag.
#LighttheWorld.

Nativity Is Up

The Nativity is in front of the temple again this year.  It is such a sweet reminder of the birth of our Savior.

We went for a walk yesterday and ended up at the mall.  These are some of the pictures we took along the way.
This was up an alley, Look Sandy, "slug bug red"

They opened a new interior design shop, kind of blurry sorry.

The watermelons are back!
This little place has been closed for about 6 months.  We're so glad they're open and selling our favorite kind of watermelons.  The only bad part is Bill ad Sandy aren't here to share them with.

This is a crazy picture of the 10 story building we've watch be built from the basement up.  They're working on the 9th floor.  It's not built crooked, I just took the picture that way it seemed easier.

A few posts ago, I showed three guys tossing bricks so they could build the 3rd floor on the building.  The third floor is now built, looks like it still needs windows.

Someday we're going to miss all of this. Until then, we're going to keep enjoying every day that we're blessed to be here.
